A picturesque former fishing village, you’ll find a charming old town bursting with boutiques, restaurants, and cocktail bars. In neighbouring Estoril, the vibe is more laid-back but the beaches and scenery are just as delightful.
When To Visit
The Lisbon Coast is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year but if you’re seeking the ultimate beach holiday, aim for the summer months. Between June and September the weather is hot and dry, with temperatures often peaking in the high twenties.
If you’re planning a walking, golfing or sightseeing holiday, spring or autumn can be good times to visit, as the cooler temperatures allow for more energetic activities. Temperatures remain mild throughout the winter, though, so the Lisbon Coast is an all-year delight.
