Soak in Luxurious Spas
Known for its bathhouses and spas, Geneva is the ideal place to unwind. Visit popular spots like the Bains des Pâquis, perched on a pier and offering bathing in summer and saunas during winter, or try one of the town’s luxurious spa resorts where you can soak your cares away while taking in spectacular views.
Cruise Lake Geneva
Plan a boat trip on the town’s iconic lake and see a different side of Geneva. Visit one of the smaller towns nearby or take a pleasure cruise and drink, dine and relax as you take in scenic views of Swiss villages, vineyards and, of course, the Alps.
Île Rousseau
This romantic island can be found in the middle of Lake Geneva and has been transformed from a historic stronghold to a welcoming public park. The island, named after philosopher and writer Jean-Jacques Rousseau, can be reached by public walkway, and you can stop for a coffee or glass of wine as you enjoy tranquil views.
Scale Salève mountain
It may be located just over the border to France, but people like to call Salève Geneva’s local mountain. Here, you can hike, paraglide or simply sip a coffee in one of the mountain-top cafés. However, if you're feeling game, head for the summit, where you will be treated to panoramic views of both the lake and the city.
Visit Geneva’s Gardens
You’ll find many flourishing parks and elegant gardens waiting to be explored in Geneva. Parc de La Grange hits the top of the list thanks to its rose garden and outdoor stage, whilst Parc de La Perle du Lac boasts dramatic views and the Jardin Anglais features a flower clock and a fountain dating back to 1862.
