Housed in a magnificent building with a golden dome, the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is the place to go to learn more about Islamic achievements and the cultural history of the UAE. The museum is in nearby Sharjah and has a collection of over 5,000 Islamic artefacts from around the world, with displays of ancient weapons, art and inventions.

Al Zorah Nature Reserve

The Wasit Wetland Centre is a nature reserve covering lagoons, freshwater pools, mud flats and sand dunes. It's home to over 60 species of resident and migratory birds and is a wonderful place for nature enthusiasts. The centre is well laid out to provide the best opportunities of seeing the birds, with unique viewing platforms across large aviaries.

Scuba Diving in Ajman

Head out to sea and dive below the gentle waves. With warm waters and great visibility, the United Arab Emirates is a wonderful place for scuba diving.
