Hajar Mountain Trek
Trek the unique terrain of the Hajar Mountains and discover a lunar landscape mixed with palm laden fertile valleys. Go from the rocky plateaus of Dibba Mountain, past quaint local villages, right to the lush oasis of Al Dhaid filled with strawberry gardens and palm trees. On your journey, admire the commanding vistas of the countryside.
Scuba Diving in Fujairah
Dive the Gulf of Oman and explore the world below the waves. With great visibility and secluded dive sites, Fujairah offers some of the best diving in the region. The waters are rich with coral gardens, and over 900 species of fish. Spot rays, seahorses, sea turtles and if you're lucky the gentle whale sharks.
Ain Al Madhab Gardens
Ain Al Madhab Gardens is located in the foothills of the Hajar Mountains, just outside the town of Fujairah. Take a stroll around the park to Fujairah Fort, one of the oldest and largest castles in the country, and wander the Heritage Village, which depicts the traditions of the region. Be sure to relax at the mineral spa too.
Al Bidya Mosque
The oldest surviving mosque in the UAE, Al Bidya Mosque is believed to have been built in the 15th century. It's made out of stone and mud and features squat domes and decorative windows. The mosque is still in use for daily prayers too, making it a great place to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Fujairah.
Dubai
Take a drive from Fujairah and you can spend a day in Dubai, the City of Gold. Wander the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper, and capture panoramic views of the futuristic skyline. Visit the Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in the world, where you can find never ending rows of exclusive designer outlets.
