Chihuly Garden and Glass

Located in Seattle, this modern exhibition showcases Dale Chihuly’s stunning glass artwork. You can explore the exhibition’s three areas – the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior. In the Glasshouse area, you’ll find an impressive 100 foot long sculpture and Chihuly’s longest suspended masterpiece. It’s a fascinating collection and well-worth a visit.

Washington Park

Covering 410 acres, Washington Park has tons to offer. Here, you can visit Oregon Zoo, home to over 1800 animals, the World Forestry Center, Hoyt Arboretum, Portland’s Children Museum, and much more. Museum of Pop Culture

Not far from Seattle’s Space Needle is the Museum of Pop Culture, or MoPOP, which houses exhibits covering everything from the art of fantasy, to horror cinema, to science fiction. Perhaps its biggest attraction, is the collection of artefacts, handwritten lyrics, and musical instruments from Seattle-born musicians Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain.
