Located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, Vakkaru is a tropical island with house reef and has fantastic dive sites and fishing spots. The Beach and Water Villas have direct access to either the sandy beach or the lagoon and are designed to accommodate couples, families and groups. Vakkaru has Splash, a water sports centre, Sportsfield with tennis and badminton courts, a gym, spa and Kids’ Club. Dining options are varied and include Italian and International themed restaurants and the island features its own wine cellar.
